This one-day course will provide up-to-date information on the latest developments in phototherapy techniques, equipment and practice
guidelines. It will present interactive learning opportunities in areas of phototherapy practice, as well as lectures on subjects of relevance to phototherapy.

Dr Aparna Sinha, Consultant Dermatologist, MBChB, FRCP, MD
<\/strong>“<\/strong>Sunscreen Allergy and Photoallergic Contact Dermatitis”<\/h4>\r\n

Short Biography:<\/strong>
Aparna completed her medical degree at the University of Birmingham and undertook dermatology training in the North East, where she was awarded a British Skin Foundation Clinical Fellowship investigating the mechanism of action of ciclosporin in atopic eczema. She subsequently held consultant posts in Newcastle and Hereford before joining the Bristol Dermatology Centre (BDC).<\/p>\r\n

She has previously served as Clinical Lead and Director of Dermatology at Hereford Hospital and currently holds the role of Digital and Co-Governance Lead at the BDC. Her clinical interests include inflammatory skin disease, with a specialist interest in cutaneous allergy. She leads the Bristol patch testing service, is a committee member of the British Society for Cutaneous Allergy (BSCA), and represents the BSCA on the National Allergy Strategy Group.<\/p>\r\n

Aparna is passionate about education and training and has mentored medical students, resident doctors, specialist nurses, and newly appointed consultant colleagues throughout her career.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The course fee includes lunch and refreshments during the teaching day, and associated\u00a0teaching materials. Accommodation costs are not included, but there are a wide range of hotels in Cardiff City Centre within walking distance of the venue if you are planning to stay.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Payment of the course fees is to be made in full 8 weeks before commencement of the course. If payment is not received, the place will be given to the first person on the waiting list. We will not send reminders so would advise payment on receipt of invoice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
